Solo Exhibition – The Wearable Body

Unashamedly vulnerable in someone else’s body

The nude body as a costume design; The Wearable Body. Bodies are cloned from their owner and transformed into separate, wearable products – to be worn by other people. The work raised from a research towards nudity in art, theatre and modern Western societies. The models wearing the bodies expose an ‘artificial vulnerability’.

The latex suits are created in layers, directly on the models bodies and tattoos/piercings are recreated in the pieces.
